EpiSep™ CK8/18 Start
Up Kit with DAPI and MCF-7 Cells
EpiSep™ CK8/18 Start Up Kits are
used for the direct detection of cytokeratin 8/18 positive
human epithelial cells (i.e. circulating tumor cells) from
human or animal whole blood.

This CK8/18 kit includes MCF-7 Cells as quality
control material to assure proper performance of kit and
reagents, testing procedure, and specimen preparation protocols.
DAPI is provided to reduce the number of
false positive and false negative results by specifically
staining the nuclei.
The EpiSep CK8/18 Kits label recovered cytokeratin 8/18 positive
cells with a biotin conjugated monoclonal antibody and allow
the use of a customer selected (and separately purchased)
streptavidin conjugated fluorophore for detection. Choose
a fluorophore that is compatible with your existing inverted
fluorescence microscope filter set(s).
